Reed became a partner and the firm was re-named as Hennings, Maltman, Weber & Reed. In 1980, the firm again relocated to the Norton Building on 2nd Avenue between Marion and Columbia, which remains our present day home.

The next members to join the firm, in order, were Douglass A. North, Douglas W. Ahrens, Michael C. Malnati, Linda Lau, Michael J. Longyear, Christina L. Corwin, John R. Vaughey, Jason W. Burnett and Julie R. Sommer. Two former members have become judges: Douglass A. North, with King County Superior Court; and Linda Lau, who previously served on the King County Superior Court and is now with the Washington State Court of Appeals, Division 1.
